Jillian Hopkins

Since 2008, I've worked as a hair stylist at salons on the North Shore, specializing in hairstyling, color, balayage, extensions and wedding services. It wasn't until after the birth of my son in 2020, Jamison, that J & J Beauty Bar was born. Now taking clients at my own micro salon within Phenix Suites in Beverly, Massachusetts, I am continuing my passion for all things hair for my clients, both old and new.

Emma Hathaway

Emma is a Marblehead native and proud graduate of North Shore Community College's Cosmetology program. Since 2023, Emma has been honing her skills under the guidance of established North Shore salons and is now learning alongside Jill at J&J Beauty Bar. Emma is now welcoming new clients for cut and/or color services.

Maria Polignone

Maria is a licensed Hair Stylist and Esthetician who’s been working in the industry since 2010. She graduated from North Shore Technical Highschool in 2013 where she also completed Cosmetology training. After graduating, she attended Catherine Hinds Institute of Aesthetics.
Maria specializes in blondes, corrective and lived in color, Brazilian blowouts and keratin treatments.

Amanda

Amanda has been behind the chair since 2015 and is a Paul Mitchell School of Cosmetology graduate. She’s skilled in both color and cutting, and loves bringing hair to life with rich dimension and a natural, effortless flow that complements each client’s features.

She specializes in blondes, lived-in color techniques, scissor men’s cuts, and extensions, and she’s all about creating a look you’ll love now and still feel good about weeks later.
